Filter the stars.

Cut through the noise on the OSRS Shooting Stars Portal. Filter by location, world type, and tier so you only see the stars worth mining.

The portal is noisy.

The Shooting Stars Portal shows every reported star across every world, every location, and every tier. Scrolling through hundreds of rows to find a star near you wastes time you could spend mining.

Star Portal Plus injects filtering controls directly into the portal page. Set your preferences once and they persist across sessions via Chrome sync storage. No more manual scanning.

Portal 246 stars reported
Filter Varrock, Lumbridge | Members | T6+
Result 3 stars match
Status Mining in under 10 seconds

How it works

1

Install

Add Star Portal Plus to Chrome or Brave from the Chrome Web Store, or load the unpacked extension manually.

2

Filter

Open the Shooting Stars Portal. The extension injects filter controls for location, world type, tier range, and dead stars.

3

Mine

Your filters persist across sessions. Open the portal, see only the stars you care about, and hop to the right world instantly.

Features

Location filtering

Toggle individual locations on or off with select-all and deselect-all controls. Only see stars in the areas you actually mine.

World type filter

Switch between F2P and Members worlds, or show both. Instantly narrow the list to worlds you can access.

Star tier range

Set a minimum and maximum tier to filter out stars that are too small to bother with or too large for your mining level.

Dead star filter

Automatically hides stars reported more than 8 minutes ago. Stop hopping to worlds where the star is already gone.
